Tour de Taste and Beer Garden with SoCal Cross Comes to L.A. Historic State Park this Saturday, November 30th

LACBC's Tour de Taste & Beer Garden combines three of our favorite things: biking, eating, and drinking!

Join us on Saturday, November 30, for our 3rd Tour de Taste! We're teaming up with Southern California CycloCross to bring you an event where you can catch the excitement of fierce CycloCross competition and enjoy some of the best food that Downtown L.A. has to offer!

There will be kiddie cross, cross clinics for those new to cross racing, intermissions in the cross races that will allow anyone to jump on the track and give it a try, plus elite races.  Once it is dark, the lit up bikes will be out in full force! Get your bike dirty then wash it at the bike wash. Get good and hungry and enjoy tastes.

What's Ringing Our Bike Bells: Celebrities Riding Invisible Bikes

When we at LACBC came up with the "What's Ringing Our Bike Bells" section a few years ago, we were glad to find an outlet for all the great (and sometimes weird) bike-related stuff we found on the Interweb. These things may not always have to do with advocacy, outreach, or education, but they importantly remind us that biking is fun!

In the spirit of this LOLcat riding an invisible bike, some Redditors utilized their Photoshop skills to create photos of celebrities riding invisible bikes. Brad Pitt, Hilary and Bill Clinton, and LACBC crush Joseph Gordon-Levitt are a few of the celebrities that are shown emulating the LOLcat on an invisible bike. Good job, Interweb!
