 1. Focalpoint Biofiltration System Utilized in Urban Retrofit for Certified "Greenroad" Application.
Provides Required Water Quality Treatment with Much Smaller Footprint than Traditional Bioretention

bci The aesthetically appealing Bagby Street Focalpoint application is also environmentally friendly and a certified "Greenroad". In addition to providing the water quality treatment in a smaller footprint than traditional bioretention, Focalpoint also provided additional detention volume and allowed for the growth of street trees to be planted without concern of the root system being problematic to the system.

 2. Introducing PaveDrain: Stormwater's Arch Enemy
The Articulating Concrete System That Provides Paving, Draining and Storage!

PD_Intro_cover The PaveDrain System is an aesthetically pleasing Permeable Articulating Concrete Block/Mat that provides installation ease and flexibility to meet current and future stormwater management regulations. Designed to be a critical component of Low Impact Development (LID) by allowing for infiltration, the system incorporates a patented arch design that can store stormwater while providing strength for heavy vehicular loads.

PaveDrain is infiltration, storage, detention conveyance and a paving surface all in one. When combined, these features allow for a reduction or elimination in stormwater infrastructure costs while minimizing environmental impact. PaveDrain works!

 3. RTank Modules Provide Stormwater Harvesting Bed Under Athletic Field
High Void Space (95%) Provides Maximum Storage Along With Easy Constructability

UVA_Cover_image Lannigan Field has been home to the University of Virginia's Track & Field team since 1971. By the year 2011, this facility needed to be completely revamped. The system originally was designed for detention use only, but ACF suggested that the stormwater could be used for irrigation purposes to water the field in the middle of the track. The design was then altered to accommodate storm- water resuse.

The R-Tank was selected, because of its versatility to be able to work as a subsurface cistern, recycling water for use as irrigation of the field above. The RTank System allowed the University to save money on short term construction costs and in the long term on irrigation costs.
