  • Greetings!

District A is hosting an event this weekend, there is a special community council meeting coming up, and of course we encourage everyone to vote on Tuesday!

Playhouse in the Park - Off the Hill This Saturday!

Playhouse in the Park (Off-the-Hill) opens its 2012-13 SEASON in District A

ACCIDENTAL FRIENDS, by Y York, is SAT, NOV 3rd, from 7 - 8:30 pm
Hosted by Kennedy Heights Presbyterian Church, 6213 Kennedy Ave.
Tickets at the door: Adults, $5. Children always free. As always, you can expect to be surprised!

What you see is what you get. You can't read a book by its cover. Which saying do you live by? Which saying should you live by? Watch two 'accidental' friends, one a sightless teenager, try to figure it out. At any age, you'll laugh your way through their awkwardness to delightful discoveries of your own.

District A unites Kennedy Heights and Pleasant Ridge through their recognized strength in the arts. Celebrating local arts and artists is our business. Driving neighborhood collaboration is our mission. Regional community vitality, rooted in the arts, is the vision of our shared future. 513-557-3850 www.district-a.org facebook.com/district-a

Community Council Special Meeting Nov. 8

There will be a special meeting of the Kennedy Heights Community Council to discuss a policy question that needs to be tackled regarding how we move forward as a neighborhood. That issue is the vacant property that was formerly Shroder School on Lumford

All KH residents are invited although we certainly expect Robison and Lumford residents to be most interested.

By charter, the Kennedy Heights Development Corporation will not take a position until the Council has engaged residents through the meeting and has a stronger indication of how best to proceed. If Community Council has a clear position and requests the assistance of KHDC then KHDC may elect to become involved but that question has not been posed yet.

This meeting will take place at the Kennedy Heights Presbyterian Church on Thursday November 8th, and 7:00 PM will be the start time.
