Tomorrow Wednesday Nov. 2: Day of the Dead Phonebank

Tomorrow, Wednesday, November 2, communities in Mexico and across the United States celebrate Dia de los Muertos to commemorate the lives of lost loved ones. As we reflect upon the coming election, we want to pay respects to all the progressive activists who blazed the trail before us by getting out the vote for our first woman president. Join us for our Day of the Dead Phonebank!

Last Week To Vote Early
Now Through This Friday

MORE HOURS and MORE LOCATIONS this year!!

Early Voting totals in Texas are WAY UP from the last Presidential elections.

This year Early Voting for the November General Election started on Monday, October 24, and runs through Friday, November 4. Our Democratic County Commissioners Court has voted to give us longer hours. Polls will be open EVERY DAY (except Sunday) from 7 AM to 7 PM. They have also given us several more locations, some of which are only open over the weekend and a few more for two days only. You can read the full schedule (and also find links to maps to help you find the Early Voting Location you wish to vote at) at this page:

http://www.dallascountyvotes.org/wp-content/uploads/EVLocations.pdf

Remember that you can vote early at ANY of the Early Voting Locations around the county.

Questions about Voter ID requirements? The Secretary of State has posted a flyer at this page:

http://www.sos.state.tx.us/elections/forms/id/poster-11x17-aw-voter.pdf

Call the party office with any questions.

While Early Voting polls are open (7 AM - 7 PM), we'll need volunteers to help out at the Dallas County Democratic Party headquarters. Our staff and resources are limited, so we need all hands on deck to make sure that we can answer phones and field questions from Dallas voters. Join in the excitement of this year's election!

Sign up for some Early Voting office shifts HERE.

Signs At DCDP Office?

Sorry, but we don't have any Hillary or Clinton Kaine signs left at the party office. The good news is that the hundreds of signs we've distributed are doing much more good out there on the streets -- especially during early voting!

We do have signs for several of our local or state candidates -- and those are free! Come by and get some of them to help remind people to vote.
