Adult Christian Development Logo

Are you ready to learn and grow in your discipleship?  The spring lineup of Adult Christian Development classes will help you do just that. It offers a variety of classes including "A Practical Christianity: Meditations for the Season;" "Get to Know Your Bible: A Class for Children and Parents;" "Faith and Practice;" "Embracing an Adult Faith" (back by popular demand); and "A Christian Response to Gun Violence."

We'll be on hand in the Parish Hall on Sunday, January 24, to answer questions and help you register. Or, view the Adult Christian Development Catalog and register online.
Visit to Al Huda Mosque
Saturday, January 30

We have been invited to visit the Al Huda Mosque in Fishers on January 30 for a meal, a presentation on "Islam 101" by their youth, and then a time of Q&A with mosque leadership. We will begin at 1 PM. This is a unique and timely opportunity to increase in mutual understanding and the love of God together. Our hosts will need to know how many of us will be coming, so please register at the link below or sign up on the sheet in the Narthex. The registration deadline is Monday, January 25.

Annual Meeting
Sunday, January 31, 11:30 a.m.

Please join us in the Parish Hall after the 10:00 a.m. service for the Annual Meeting. The staff and vestry will share highlights of 2015 and the vision for the next two to three years. A light lunch will be served. Nursery care will be available.

The Annual Report will be sent by email during the week of January 24 to give you an opportunity for review it before the meeting.

Faith and Practice Class

Volunteer Opportunity

Are you looking for a volunteer opportunity that will bless both St. Christopher's and one of our Service to Others Ministries? We are seeking a volunteer to coordinate the annual pansy sale. Proceeds are used to purchase the seasonal plantings outside the church entrances and benefit one of our Service to Others ministries. The sale begins in February and concludes with the delivery of pansies before Easter.

Margo Suttner has overseen the pansy sale for several years and has the details down pat. She will acquaint you with the process and introduce you to the pansy grower who will deliver the pansies to the church. You need only receive and tally orders, coordinate with the grower, and be on hand for orders to be picked up. Knowledge of Excel is helpful. If this opportunity is of interest to you, please contact Margo at [email protected] or 317-580-1441.
The Diocesan Profile

The Search Committee for the Eleventh Bishop of the Diocese of Indianapolis has published the Diocesan Profile. The Profile describes our diocese to potential candidates and outlines the gifts, qualities, skills, and experiences we are seeking in our next Bishop.
