SITE New York is now SITE Northeast, USA!
The 2016 board of directors and SITE Global are proud to announce that SITE New York is now SITE Northeast USA! Our new re-branding reflects the development of SITE New York to regions outside of the immediate New York Metro area to now include the northeastern states of: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont. |

SITE Index
SITE Foundation has partnered with J.D. Power, one of the best known market research companies in the industry, and IMEX Group to conduct its annual SITE Index survey. The SITE Index is an annual analysis and forecast for the motivational events industry. Research examines internal and external challenges to the industry and how these factors impact the stability and growth of our market, addressing behaviors of buyers and supplier partners, providing leading indicators for future trends. Key Findings- Those involved in the incentive travel industry generally see their businesses as strong with two-thirds of both buyers and sellers indicating a willingness to invest in their own companies if given a chance.
- Overall, the study shows there has been a net increase in incentive travel budgets over the past year and this trend should continue into the next 12 months.
- 57% of 'Buyers' plan to 'greatly' or 'slightly' increase the number of people eligible for incentive travel awards in the next 12 months.

CSR with SMU a delightful hit in NYC!
Through the support of our sponsors, Switzerland Convention & Incentive Bureau and Northstar Meetings Group, nearly 100 meeting and incentive professionals attended a CSR event on February 20th in New York City in partnership with Successful Meetings University. Guests were able to assemble 25 culinary kits that will be awarded to scholarship winners from C-CAP (Careers through Culinary Arts Program), a national non profit that works with public schools to prepare underserved high school students for college and career opportunities in the restaurant & hospitality industry. Teams worked together to answer Trivial Pursuit questions which ultimately awarded them with the tools needed to create complete culinary knife & prep sets! A big thanks to 5th Avenue Digital as well for their support and awesome job capturing fantastic moments from the event!

Young Leaders Update
2016 is going to be an action packed year for our industry. The SITE Northeast Young Leaders are ready to rock with some fantastic upcoming events! From our 2nd annual scavenger hunt to our summer outings to the global young leaders conference before IMEX America in Las Vegas, those 30 years and under or with less than 5 years experience in the industry are invited to join in on the action!

Global Meetings Industry Day
