About Chris
ChrisFlisherAstrologer

Chris Flisher has been a student of astrology ever since he had his first chart done at age 20. At the time, a perfect stranger asked him his astrology coordinates (birthdate /place /time) and within a few days he had the most amazingly accurate account of himself that he had ever read; delivered by a person who had no previous knowledge of him.
Since then he has spent years researching, understanding, and practicing astrology. Much like medicine, astrology is a practice and a deep complex science/art requiring years of experience and research. Astrologers must work with both scientific data and intuition.  Chris was recently awarded a "Top Ten Astrologers" award and is celebrating his seventh continuous year of broadcasting as the host of the weekly radio show, "Turning Of The Wheel" on Contact Talk Radio.
Weekly Astrology by Chris Flisher ~ January 13, 2014
Coming to "Turning of the Wheel" on January 17th at 11:00 AM ~ "The Millenials with Donna Cunningham"
Children born in an era when three major outer planets formed what's called a stellium in astrology have grown up under the most unusual circumstances.  Framed around a cluster of planets, all in close proximity, the millenials have grown up in a world far different than many of their baby-boom parents.  A stellium is a close alignment of three or more planets in the same zodiacal proximity.  In the case of these millenials, the three planets were Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune which were all located in the middle degrees of Capricorn, a place in the grand wheel that is being triggered by the current position of Pluto.  This has presented this generation with a much different picture of daily reality than many a generation has had to face.  Saturn represents responsibility, Uranus harkens rebellion, and Neptune provides a shroud of fog that clouds the view dramatically.  Disillusionment, harsh reality, and a dream that has yet to appear...

This weekly newsletter provides the forecast by sign for the coming week.  Astrology has suffered over the years through the common newsprint versions.   When your delve further and learn your Rising sign (a.k.a ascendant) you will increase the accuracy of your information dramatically.  To learn your Rising sign you simply need to enter the date, place and time of your birth.  Click here to learn your Rising sign
Once you know both your Sun sign and your Rising sign you should read both passages each week.  You should memorize your Rising sign and understand it as much as you do your Sun sign.  I guarantee you will be well-prepared for the week to come.  Astrology is about themes; not specifics.  Try it out!  Forward to a friend (PLEASE) Let me know your thoughts.  Learn more about astrology here->

Week of January 13, 2014

The Moon beams bright and full mid-week in the warm and maternal sign of Cancer (25 degrees) where she sheds her warmth, amplified by Jupiter. Any time the Moon beams bright and full we tend to see our emotions come untethered, or at least in full view. Like a balloon let loose of air, flying, willy-nilly as emotions run ......learn more

Aries  (March 21 - April 19)

You may be chomping at the bit, trying to forge a new way forward with your career. And yet, the connections and conversations may be fractured and infrequent. You may feel as if you are almost in reach and then the opportunity seems to slip away. This may be a frustrating time since you are determined to succeed.

Taurus  (March 21 - April 19)
Conversations about your career and future may be tied to travel and training. The desire and drive may be fully present on your part as you express your ideas and willingness to try and improve your situation. Try not to overstate your opinions as your ideas might be misconstrued as demanding or pushy.
Gemini  (May 21 - June 21)
You may be involved in financial research involving a relative or partner whose revenue complications require your keen eye for detail. By carefully parsing the available information you may be able to find the right solution through a series of tried methods that have worked for you in the past. The long term plans are important.
Cancer  (June 22 - July 22)

The topic for you will invariably be the relationship. This stewing pot of emotions may have been on the back burner for some time but it may come to a boil sooner or later. The outcome largely depends on where you are emotionally. Do you want more or less? Either way a change is due.

Leo (July 23 - August 22)

Work may be taking up a lot of your time so be mindful of your limits with regard to what you can accomplish realistically. You may be seeing long-term changes on the horizon so plan accordingly and with your best interests in mind. The times are ripe for significant transitions.

Virgo (August 23 - September 22)

Be sure to offer your best as you try and collaborate with others. This may be an especially active time for such associations so extend yourself willingly and with good intention. You may be overly ambitious so try and keep your expectations realistic and reachable. Frustration can lead to progress through sheer desire.

Libra (September 23 - October 22)

The complexities of your day-to-day challenges arise from balancing work and home. You may be trying to be in both places at once or you have a need to try and be all things to all people in both areas of your vibrant life. Either way you may be feeling pulled in opposite directions.

Scorpio (October 23 - November 21)

An investigation and a subsequent report may be on your to-do list this week as tasks that involve a deeper look arrive in your in box. This may be one of your special talents but getting the results that you are used to may be a bit more challenging than your may have originally thought.

Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21)

Long term investments may be where you want to focus, but the daily reality may deliver a different end of the spectrum. Debts and long-time promises may come due and you may be unprepared for them unless you take action to secure you end of the deal. What you promised may suddenly be here.

Capricorn (December 22 - January 19)

Take the spotlight and glow in it. This may be a time to significantly rise to the occasion with a lot of attention on you. Relationships may pull you in a different direction, but you have a job to do and it will be done. Stick to your dreams and motives and you will prevail.

Aquarius (January 20 - February 18)

Transition is your word and it may not be the one you would choose consciously. Since change is an inevitable part of this moment, you may be tempted to hang on, when in fact, you might be better off letting go. How do you accommodate both desires? A gradual compromise may be your best option.

Pisces (February 19 - March 20)
Support comes from those you admire and understand. You may be in a collaborative mode where associations carry you through and provide buoyancy for you. This can be a creative outlet that puts you on the spot,; literally. You know your topic and if you draw from that you will leave an impression.
