Chris Flisher has been a student of astrology ever since he had his first chart done at age 20. At the time, a perfect stranger asked him his astrology coordinates (birthdate /place /time) and within a few days he had the most amazingly accurate account of himself that he had ever read; delivered by a person who had no previous knowledge of him.Chris has spent the rest of his time researching, understanding, and practicing astrology. Much like medicine, astrology is a practice and a deep complex science/art requiring years of experience and research. Astrologers must work with both scientific data and intuition. Chris was recently awarded a "Top Ten Astrologers" award and is celebrating his fourth continuous year of broadcasting as the host of the weekly radio show, "Turning Of The Wheel" on Contact Talk Radio.

"Synthesis ~ The Art Of Astrology"
| |
It is easy to cast astrology aside as meaningless. Many roll their eyes when I speak of the power of this amazing tool, and yet everyone knows the sign under which they were born. We may disregard astrology until we see it working. Then we pay attention. When does astrology work? Astrology works by analyzing and, most importantly, synthesizing the information into coherent language that has richness and meaning. Once the astrological data is properly interpreted and delivered in plain-speak, we can begin to see the value and depth presented. The proof is truly in the pudding.
This process is synthesis. Synthesis is the task of compiling complex astrological data, coordinates, aspects and inter-relationships of your unique planetary composition and making them recognizable; easily understood so that they can be useful for making decisions. Many people complain of the over-loaded use of astrological jargon and terms which either leaves clients confused, or frustrated trying to learn a whole new language. It's like trying to talk to a lawyer or a doctor or even a car mechanic about a specific problem that has a unique set of terms that apply to the condition or the event. If you heard two astrologers talking to each other you'd think it was a foreign language. In many ways it is. Trines, squares, quincunxes, aspects, transits, degrees, angles, applying and separating are all words that make little sense in an astrology reading to the average person yet is the vernacular of the astrologer.
The secret to a solid astrological reading is being able to assimilate this information and deliver it in a manner that is understandable in a clear, concise fashion. There is no question that astrology works. As a professional astrologer, I take calls from people around the world through my radio show, "Turning Of The Wheel," and I know nothing about them other than their birth date, place and time. And yet, the information I provide is timely, pointed, and most importantly, accurate. This is validated every time an astrology reading is conducted. This self-validating process cannot be scripted, or predicted. The process is truly proof of the accuracy of this amazing scientific tool.
Typically, clients come to see an astrologer when they are faced with a decision or at a crossroads in their lives. Relationships, career transitions, and finances are important milestones and with the proper use of astrology you can definitely strike while the iron is hot and make the best move. Timing is everything. The natal astrology chart is static. It will never change and it is similar to your fingerprints or your DNA. Once you are born, that is cast and will not change. However, when you bring the natal entity into the world of today you see where the action is and how best to address it. When this information is delivered in clear plain language that has stores and themes involved then the picture becomes much clearer. This is most especially the case when it comes to the aforementioned decisions. Do you stay or do you go? Do you take the job, or leave? Do you buy or sell? All of these are important timed decisions that, if made while incorporating astrology, can make all the difference in your world. The secret is proper use of the language; a careful assimilation of the information; and an understanding of the timing of your journey. Synthesis is the by-product of a carefully researched and analyzed astrology cast. The results can be absolutely astounding. This is the art of astrology.

Monthly Astrology Forecast ~ June 2013

New BLOG now available
Week of June 3rd
The most arresting theme of this week will be in the power of words as Mercury, the messenger tightens into a direct opposition to Pluto and subsequently squares itself to Uranus as it moves close to 11 degrees Cancer. Both of these positions are significant unto themselves, but when combined they are quite powerful. Mercury, represents communication, research, intellectual pursuits, and all things that involve curiosity and conversation. Pluto in Capricorn represents re-construction, tearing down and eventual rebuilding. And while that sounds hopeful it requires the tearing down first, which can be significant. That is where the hard part comes in. Restructure comes hard especially to the most powerful organizations, people, and movements, simply because many are affected. We have seen major exposure and controversy come to the church, government, and personal scandals as our heroes are brought down by their hidden agendas and lies. This is one of the redeeming qualities of this purging. We finally get to see who is behind the curtain and our expectations get re-set.
Week of June 10th
By now, Venus has come into a full opposition to Pluto and subsequently squared Uranus. Both of these aspects are considered tense and fraught with change. Uranus especially brings a dramatic component to the scene as unpredictability is his claim to fame. The saving grace to the situation is the presence of Venus indicating that whatever change does come our way we can see the potential in it. Mercury drags up the conversation and again we find ourselves deep in the middle of a swirl of talk. And it may be meaningless. This can be a contentious time, with a public tone that might actually be better off in private, if possible. This may be a conversation that tears down a long-held belief or it might bring forth quite a revealing secret that completely changes the game plan or our public perception. This could happen quite by accident.
Week of June 17th
The conversation continues this week and we might actually see some tangible progress as Venus and Mercury align in an exact conjunction at 22 degrees Cancer. This is an interesting placement since it aligns with the natal Mercury of the United States which occurs in our eighth house. How does that unfold? Eighth house issues are about taxes, loans, legal disputes and the like. It is also the house of inheritance. What did we inherit from our forefathers that might be reconsidered? It may indicate a long-standing financial agreement final comes to light or that the deeds of the mis-spent past finally come due. It can go either way. Since we have spent so many years digging ourselves into this gigantic hole we may finally the consequences staring us in the face and therefore, in a state of near collapse. Or conversely we are about to the repair that which has gone way too far. Mercury is currently in its shadow period leading up to the retrograde coming next week so we could be seeing some weirdness in and around all sorts of financial reform. Venus along for the ride can sweeten the talk.
Week of June 24th
A full Moon in Capricorn brings an alignment that triggers the cardinal angle as it crosses over the same degree as Pluto shortly thereafter. An emotional hot-spot may also occur as this Moon will also square Uranus, known for creating random acts of unpredictability and chaos. Despite this potential we also see the influence of the Moon over Neptune and Saturn later in the week. Neptune is currently in a trine (or a harmonious angle) to Saturn so we might get a real tangible taste of what it means to dream and imagine responsibly. Saturn likes order, discipline, accountability and doing the right thing, whereas Neptune dwells in the realm of the dreamer and the illusive world of imagination and fantasy. Does the exchange between these two outer planets represent a glimpse of a dream coming to light? This is a busy week for planets changing signs. When planets change signs we have action and results.
