Greetings!
We always do our best to keep our members informed of changes that impact all of Girl Scouting. At the National Council Session in 2011, it was decided that annual membership dues would increase to $15, effective October 1, 2013. The last dues increase went into effect in 2009 when dues were increased from $10 to the current $12. It is important to note that these dues are paid straight to GSUSA and none of the money stays at our eastern Missouri council. This increase will allow GSUSA to provide us with the best materials and programs for your girls. It is our goal to continue to provide the best, most cost-effective programs to build girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place. This year, GSUSA pledged ToGetHerThere by creating equal leadership opportunities for girls within a generation. This increase will help us turn today's girls into tomorrow's businesswomen, CEOs, politicians, educators and community leaders. Best Wishes,
Donna K. Martin CEO, Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri |
