Greetings!
Cookie Booths are finally here, and we are so excited that select booths will accept credit cards this year using mobile phones and Square. The pilot program will include 20 booths with smartphones and Square credit card reader. We'd like to give a special thanks to AT&T for providing the smartphones and helping to make buying your favorite cookies even easier through mobile technology. We also appreciate all the assistance we received from Square. Using online technology, girls can now also take orders via eCards. Every girl Council-wide has this opportunity to learn technological skills during the Girl Scout Cookie Program. This is a wonderful opportunity for girls to achieve higher levels of rewards. And, you can always buy cookies the traditional way. Be sure to stop by a booth and help teach girls valuable life skills learned through the Cookie Program: decision making, goal-setting, money management, people skills and business ethics. While they're learning, you can enjoy the delicious cookies. Visit our website and use the Cookie Finder to find booths near you. It's almost March, and you know what that means. It's time to start thinking about summer camp. Your girls will absolutely love some of the new camps we've added this year. No matter what activities girls are interested in, they'll find the perfect camp for them. Some of our new camps include Tuckaho's Got Talent, Little Medical School, Junior Vet and a special dance camp with the Lindenwood Lions. A copy of our summer camp guide, S'more Summer Fun, is available on our website, so be sure to check it out and get your girls signed up for a summer they'll never forget. Best Wishes,
Donna K. Martin CEO, Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri |
