The EPCMS Physician Connection, held May 21 at Cheyenne Mountain Resort, was a huge success despite the hail storm that shook the area. 

 

Joel Dickerman, DO, Michelle Hor, MD, and Ken Finn, MD, were elected as officers of the EPCMS Board of Directors.  Dr. Dickerman will serve as Treasurer, Dr. Hor as Vice President, and Dr. Finn as the Member At-large.  Their terms begin at the induction ceremony September 17 at the EPCMS  Physician Connection.  Save the Date for this event beginning at 5:30 PM. 
  
Scott Robinson, DO, Peak Vista Community Health Ctr., walked away with a prize donated by Ent Business Banking Solutions, and Brad Beck, MD, Centura Ctr. for Occupational Medicine, was the grand prize winner.

On a list of top ten personal values, the majority of physicians ranked benevolence as the most important value. Those physicians who ranked benevolence as important also reported having a high level of satisfaction in their work, while those who identified power as important report being dissatisfied with the medical profession.
 
"Each profession tests the professional at different times in his or her career, " commented David Wahl, M.D., an Associate Clinical Professor with Univ. of Colorado.  "Physicians who are healthy are less likely to be sued."
