ECT now available
Peak View Behavioral Health recently started Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) at their new 92-bed inpatient and outpatient behavioral health hospital. ECT can be an effective treatment option for patients who are severely depressed, suicidal or have bipolar disorder with depression/mania. Peak View offers ECT on both an outpatient and inpatient basis for patients who are 18 years and older and usually unresponsive to other forms of treatment, an immediate danger to themselves and not good candidates for antidepressants or mood stabilizer medication. To learn more about this specialized service and how to make a referral, please visit
You may also contact the ECT Program Coordinator directly, Tammy Cobb, RN, at 719-355-1035.
