VFMS Faculty in addition to Mr. Gibson - Mrs. Clemmer and Mr. Leviston!

Cinda Marturano, VFMS Parent, has shared this heartwarming story about her alumni connections and a great community service opportunity:

Mark Herzlich is an NFL football player for the NY Giants with a Superbowl win. He graduated from VFMS in 2002 and Conestoga in 2006.

Today, current 5th grader and Cinda's son Jimmy Marturano will work on Mark's annual fundraiser in Wilson Farm park with other Conestoga General football players and families from VFMS on June 12, 2016. The fundraiser is for "Steps to Cure Sarcoma". Mark Herzlich was diagnosed shortly after the NFL draft his Junior year of College at Boston College. He is now 6 years free of cancer so he has "Beat Cancer". He is doing fantastic!

Please click here to learn more about the "Steps to Cure Sarcoma" Annual 5K Run/1k Walk taking place on Saturday, June 12th at Wilson Park.
