Directory Advertisement Coordinator wanted!

Are you looking to help out the VFMS PTO but don't student directoryhave much time to spare? Well, this could be the job for you!

Our erstwhile coordinator, Shari Junikiwicz, is
graduating and we are seeking a replacement. The job can be done from home and entails contacting previous advertisers to see if they are interested in advertising again and collecting new business which will come through an ad in the weekly blast. There is no cold calling, unless you feel inclined! This is done at the end of the school year and over the summer and then, once term starts, you will liaise with the Directory Designer to ensure the ads are placed correctly.

It really is as simple as that! If you are interested, kindly contact Sarah Culbert by email or phone at 610-608-8501.

 Builders Club Needs Your Help!

Do you have a Truck? The Builder's Club needs your help!

The Valley Friends Meeting, which is located not far from the school -where Walker Road turns into Old Eagle School Rd, recently completed a spring cleanup of the meeting building and grounds.  They would like to donate  a large but not giant pile of dirt, right from the land on their grounds, so it's clean "native" Tredyffrin dirt They don't have any way to get the dirt to our new Valley Forge garden.

We need volunteers with a truck and some shovels to pick up and deliver this dirt to our garden. The pile is against the back wall of the Burial Ground.

Questions? Contact Michele Simmoneau or Karen Hill.
Book Donations

Are you Spring Cleaning and finding that you have too many BOOKS for your shelves? We may have a solution for you!

The 5th grade Leadership Seminar is collecting books for two specific groups:

  •  PAPERBACKS for SERVICEMEN overseas
  •  All sort of books for CHILDREN and YOUNG PEOPLE age 0 - 14

We will be placing COLLECTION BOXES in all 5th and 6th grade Homebases and in the school Lobby near the LIBRARY (sort of makes sense, right?).

Please bring books that are in good condition starting MONDAY 6/1 through FRIDAY 6/19.

THANK YOU!!!
Attention 8th Graders!
