Picture retakes will take place on Friday, November 21. All students wanting a retake should bring their original picture package to school and hand it to the photographer that day. 

Wednesday, November 19th the VFMS 8th grade Leadership Seminar will be selling SOFT PRETZELS after school for $1.00!  Funds will go towards the expenses of the Senior Citizens Prom we host in May.  

Winter sports at VFMS begin soon!

PIAA paperwork is now being accepted in Room 118. Paperwork can be found in Room 118 or at this link. Any student who has never had an ImPACT test can come to the library after school on Tuesday, 11/11.

Black Friday...Cyber Monday...they are coming!!!!!!  Make sure your Target REDcard is signed up to support Valley Forge Middle School!  Target will donate 1% of purchases made on your REDcard (Target debit or credit card) to the school if you simply sign up at here  .

The VFMS PTO has switched from the Amazon Associates program to the Amazon Smiles program which will allow more purchases to qualify towards our fundraising efforts. Many of you are already shopping on Amazon.com. You can support the VFMS PTO every time you shop, at no cost to you - when you shop Amazon through AmazonSmiles. 

Choose us as your charity, and Amazon will donate 0.5% of your eligible purchases to the VFMS PTO.

Participating is Easy!  To begin shopping for the VFMS PTO, you only need to select us as your charity one time through the link at the top of the PTO website. That's it!

AmazonSmile is an excellent way for VFMS PTO families to contribute to our school and our students without having to give up any extra time or money.  If all of our parents who use Amazon would remember to shop through AmazonSmile, we
could significantly increase our annual fundraising without having to ask our  families to do any more than they already do to support us!

On Wednesday, December 3rd (right after Thanksgiving), we will be holding a fundraiser at Panera Restaurant in Gateway Shopping Center on from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. We will receive a percentage of their sales during those hours. The percentage we receive is determined by the number of customers who come expressly to support this effort.  Please plan to eat at Panera or take home dinner from Panera on Wednesday, December 3rd!  Enjoy a break from cooking and help raise funds for our Senior Citizens Prom on May 9th, 2015. We will have a table set up at Panera where you can turn in your receipt so we can record it and then earn a percentage for prom funds! Check out more information here.
 

Interested in Wrestling Club? Join us on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (November 11th/12th and 18th/19th) from 2:30-3:15 at VFMS in the wrestling room! All grades are welcome. For more information, contact Mr. Ryan. 

 

Spark offers a fun and inspirational learning environment with an emphasis on teamwork, sportsmanship, friendship, and self-confidence. The Winter program will take place at the Main Line Sports Center, formerly the Syms building.

Tell your grandparents and other family and friends (65 and over) to SAVE THE DATE and plan to attend the 8th Grade Leadership Seminar's Senior Citizens Prom on Saturday, May 9th, right here at VFMS (free admission for seniors)! We have had many rave reviews from years past.  The seniors are treated to fine food and entertainment, and they love to interact with our young people!  More info to come on this.
