Golden Apple Grants
Do you know what a Golden Apple Grant is? Ever heard of them? Well, here is your chance to find out! The VFMS PTO has created a fund to support outstanding and innovative programs, ideas and/or purchases which will enrich the educational experience at VFMS. The  standard Golden Apple Grant is $200 and typically up to 10 grants will be made available during each school year.
Do you have an idea we can support? We are accepting grant applications now for the 2013-14 school year. Any member of the VFMS community is welcome to apply including teachers, staff, administrators, parents and of course students. The PTO Board will review submitted applications and grant recipients will be notified and receive funds on a 'first come, first served' basis until all budgeted funds have been allocated.

Volunteers Needed!
We are in need of plenty of volunteers for this Friday, March 28th for as long as anyone can spare. We will be grouting the amazing Elements Tile Mosaic in the main lobby of the middle school. PSSA Snacks/Water Needed!
We are looking for parent volunteers and snack donations to provide all of Valley Forge's students with a snack each

All teams should prepare to practice for both inside and outside!
8th baseball tryouts in gym and blacktop (last day)
Softball practice in gym until 3:30 p.m., mtg afterward til 4pm.
Boys lacrosse practice on blacktop from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.
No girls lacrosse practice if fields are closed.
Tuesday

Come to the Kids Clothing Grab Bag!!!
Don't miss out on the 3rd annual Kids Clothing Grab Bag on March 28th (2:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m.) or March 29th (9:00 a.m. - Noon) at St. Matthew's United Methodist Church on Walker Road in Wayne. This fundraiser for T&E Care was very successful last year, with LOTS of high quality clothes for  infants through teens available for your selection. Everyone in the community is invited to come and fill bags with kids clothing of your choice. The suggested donation amount is $5 per bag. Tell your neighbors and friends to come and "shop"!
