Updated School Calendar Changes: Presidents' Day is an Instructional Day for Students
Updated on 2/7/2014
Due to the number of weather-related school closings, the School District calendar will be changed for this year. The Presidents' Day holiday scheduled for Monday, February 17, 2014 will be changed to an instructional day for all students. All schools will be open on Monday, February 17, 2014. The tentative last day of school for students remains Friday, June 20, 2014. The snow days on February 5, 2014, February 6, 2014 and February 7, 2014 have resulted in emergency closing make-up days on Monday, April 14, 2014 - Wednesday, April 16, 2014, which are the first three days of spring break. If there is another snow day this year, the next emergency closing make-up day will be Thursday, April 17, 2014. The School Board will take action on changes to the 2013-2014 school calendar at its special meeting on Monday, February 10, 2014.
