Hi All!

Quite a few of you have endorsed us by responding so promptly to our initial letter of appeal. Your thoughtful donations were very much appreciated and have already started to work their magic.....thank you!

As you know our quarterly fundraising goal is $10,000.  At this time we still have not met our this even halfway and we are asking those of you may not have had the chance yet,  to consider contributing any amount to our cause. (see below 'A Gift that Makes a Difference')
 
No Strings Theatre provides top level programming at a fraction of operating costs, thereby fulfills a charitable cause by subsiding program and event fees right across the board.   Your donation will help to provide financial support for our programming, the professional creative staff, and scholarships and bursaries, among our top priorities towards keeping the arts alive and well in our community. 

You guessed it, times are critical for us, and we are currently faced with some tough decisions on how or if we can proceed with with our plans this season if we do not receive sufficient support at this juncture.

Behind the scenes...
Youth Volunteer Orientation

No Strings Theatre rounds up an eager group of youth volunteers from across the GTA  for front of house and stage crew support for our upcoming December concert.  A few of these youths have experienced work in the theatre but many haven't and are just pumped to get a taste of their first experience with the stage business.  .... and there are still more to be interviewed. This was taken just outside of our office at the Wychwood Barns.  In the photo also are NST staff volunteers - Volunteer Coordinator, Bronwen Nicholson who holds a degree in English and Drama studies as well as post graduate certification in Career Counseling, and assistant, Sherry Ramdass who holds certification in child and youth work.   
Event date: Sunday December 20th, 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm
 Artscape Wychwood Barns on Sunday, 601 Christie St, Barn 2, on December 20.  
        Two shows 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm, Tickets $25, $20, $15, Family or any group of 5 for $100*
