Representatives from Citigroup will be at Swiss Monday and Tuesday to present their 'Women in IT' program to 7th grade girls through their computer class with Ms. Hurst.  7th grade boys will go to the library during computer class.

Attention 8th grade parents:  Swiss Point will host a High School 101 meeting this Thursday, January 28th at 6:30pm in the auditorium.  We will share information with parents about high school academies, deadlines, graduation requirements, and selecting courses for next year.

Student Council is hosting our spring bash this Friday, January 29th from 2-5pm.  Tickets are $5 and will be sold during lunches on Wednesday & Thursday.  Students are also being asked to bring an individually wrapped snack to donate to the Ronald McDonald House.  Pick-up from the bash will start at 4:50pm in the BACK bus loop.  If you must pick up your child early, please tell them.  Students leaving early will need to leave their backpack in the main office. Parents will then need to enter the school through the main office to get their child early.

Below is the FSA & EOC schedule, PLEASE mark your calendars and try not to schedule anything when your child will be testing.  The tests are all back to back so squeezing in make-up exams is very difficult.  If you are discussing schedules with a mom from a different middle school, our schedule is slightly different.  The state selects schools every year to help calibrate each exam and Swiss was chosen for 6th grade math, so we must administer 6th grade math during the first week of testing.

Tuesday, March 1st - FSA Writing (120mins)
6th & 7th grades are paper/pencil
8th grade is computer-based
April 11th - 14th:  6th grade FSA Math
April 15th & 18th:  6th grade FSA Reading
