Message from Mrs. Kunze
If you didn't have time to take the survey last week, please take a few minutes. We do use the feedback to make improvements. For example, last year many parents stated there was never enough parking in the front lot, so we designated several spots to parents and visitors moving some teacher parking to the back.

Moseley's Food for Thought
Is your child or someone you know grieving the death of a loved one? If so, please consider having them go to Camp Healing Powers. It is done through Hospice and is free and for children between the ages of 7 and 17. Please check out the link to their flier about their up-coming camp and a link to an article from the camp director. I've heard very good things from youth and their parents who have participated in the past.

Creeks Rec League (February-April) K-8 Boys & Girls
Our core focus, at all age levels, are the fundamentals (passing, catching, shooting, cradling, scooping, etc) of individual play and incorporation of team skills. Each season, we have many newcomers, at all age levels that join us for their first season of lacrosse. So, if your son or daughter has never played before, he or she will not be alone in trying lacrosse for the first time. While we always intend to field competitive teams and play well, we pride ourselves on developing players for longevity in the game of lacrosse by teaching the core fundamentals of the game and instilling in our players a love for the game. The transition from "newbie" at the beginning of the season to what could be called a "lacrosse player" at the end of a season is impressive. Hopefully, we will be able to count your son or daughter in for that transition! For questions about Spring Lax, send an email to creekslacrosse@gmail.com

Welcome to our Maker Space.
Thank you to the DiDeo family for donating the activities for this space. My goal has always been to create a Media Center that is the Hub of the school and the DiDeo family has joined with me to create this wonderful STEM space. A Maker Space is an area where people gather to create and make.......make what? ANYTHING! It's a place where students can share supplies, skills, and ideas and work together on projects. It's about tinkering, collaborative learning, play, conversations for learning, experimentation, inquiry, the act of creating and problem solving. We are in the beginning stages and as you see, we have electronics, straws (yes, straws!), marble towers, kinex and mosaic tiles. As the years progress I hope to add things such as 3D printing, a lego wall, and more. This space is making its GRAND OPENING this coming week during Celebrate Literacy. Lots of fun things are happening in the media center.
