Messages from Mrs. Kunze

It is hard to believe that we start school tomorrow!  THANK YOU to everyone who came out Saturday for our Get Ready for School event.  We had a tremendous turn-out and I can't thank all of our volunteers enough.  There is no way we could hold such an event without amazing volunteers!

Parent Drop-off & Pick-up

Students can be dropped off starting at 7:10am in the mornings.  They will sit in the library until 7:30am when students are released from the buses.  The parent drop-off line is extremely busy in the morning, so we encourage your child to ride the bus if they are eligible for that service.  If you drive your child to school, we ask that he/she be ready to exit the vehichle quickly when you stop in the loop.  Please say your good-byes and give kisses while waiting to turn into the drop-off loop.

Monday's schedule

All students will report to homeroom from 7:40am to 8am.  Everyone will receive a new copy of their schedule as there have been some changes made today to schedules.  We enrolled a few more students and had to balance a few classes.  After homeroom, students will follow their Silver day schedule.  Lunch depends upon the location of their 3rd period class.  Lunch will be extended to 45minutes on Monday and Tuesday to ensure everyone has a chance to eat and can learn the routine.  We encourage those who can pack a lunch to do so the first few days while everyone is learning the lunchroom routine.

Backpacks

Students will only be allowed to carry a drawstring bag to class starting tomorrow.  If he/she is carrying an inappropriate bag, he will be asked to put it in their locker.

Textbooks

We will issue textbooks to those who still need them starting on Wednesday during lunch.

Beyond The Bell - Extended Day Program

Students registered for Beyond the Bell need to report to the libary at dismissal after they go to their locker.  Parents will need to enter the building through the front door to pick-up from the library by 6pm.  For the two weeks remaining in August the fee will be $100 and will need to be paid this week. The fee for September will be $200 and will need to be paid by September 1st.
