Beyond the Bell
Swiss Point will be offering an extended day program this year from 2-6pm. The cost is $200 per month with a $75 registration fee. Families must pay up front by the 1st of each month. Students will be supervised by a paraprofessional from 2-3pm and then will be with a certified teacher from 3-6pm. Students will be allowed to leave the media center to attend club meetings, teacher help sessions, or to participate in sports. Students must be picked up by 6pm or there will be a charge of $1 per minute.
Time in our Beyond the Bell program will be spent doing homework. Once homework is completed, students can read, play board games or cards, or use the computers. Students will be given a bottle of water and a bag of chips or package of cookies daily for a snack.
We will also offer a "drop-in" option. A punch card with 20 "drop-in" visits can be purchased for $300. Families that use the "drop-in" service will still need to pay the $75 registration fee.
If students stay for any after school activity and are not picked up at the end time, they will be placed in extended day and the parent will be charged the "drop-in" rate of $15.
If you would like to register for Beyond the Bell this Saturday, please see Mrs. Casper in the Guidance Office.
