FCAT, State EOCs & Semester Exams

 

Below is a link for the daily 2014 FCAT & State EOC testing schedules.  We will be testing for 6 straight weeks starting Monday, April 14th.  

 

It is extremely important that students are here for these tests. We are requesting that you please check the schedule carefully before scheduling doctor appointments.

 

FCAT & EOC Testing - April & May 2014 

 

Below is a general overview for each week.  PLEASE check the attached link above to determine the exact days that your child will be testing.

 

Week 1 - April 14th - 18th

7th grade FCAT Reading CBT (computer based testing)

Students will test through their Language Arts class.  The Silver/Black days have been altered, because the State requires students to take sessions 1 & 2 on consecutive days.

 

Week 2 - April 21st - 25th 

6th grade FCAT Reading CBT Mon-Thu.  Students will test through their Language Arts class.  The Silver/Black days have been altered, because we are required to test sessions 1 & 2 on consecutive days.

Tue, April 22nd - 7th & 8th grade FCAT Math (paper/pencil)

Thu, April 24th - 8th gr FCAT Science (paper/pencil)

8th grade FCAT Reading CBT starts on Fri, April 25th.  Students will be tested through their Language Arts class.  The Silver/Black days have been altered, because we are required to test sessions 1 & 2 on consecutive days.

 

Week 3 - April 28th - May 2nd

Mon - Wed - 8th gr FCAT Reading CBT continues through their Language Arts class.  Again, Silver/Black days have been altered.

Thu-Fri - 6th grade FCAT Math CBT.  Students will test through their math class.  Both sessions of the test are administered on the same day.

 

Week 4 - May 5th - 9th 

Mon-Tue - 6th grade FCAT Math CBT continues through math class.  Both sessions of the test are administered on the same day.

Wed-Fri - State Civics EOC CBT.  7th grade students will test in alphabetical groups.  This test is 30% of the student's overall course grade.

 

Week 5 - May 12th - 16th 

Mon-Tue - State Algebra EOC CBT.  Students will test through their Algebra class.  This test must be passed to earn credit and is 30% of the student's overall course grade.

 

Week 6 - May 19th - 23rd

Tue - State Geometry EOC CBT.  Students will test through their Geometry class.  This test is 30% of the student's overall course grade.

  

District Semester Exams

Thursday, May 29th - Exams in S2 & B2

Friday, May 30th - Exams in S3 & S4

Monday, June 2nd - Exams in B3 & B4

Tuesday, June 3rd - Exam in skinny & make-ups start

Wednesday, June 4th - Semester Exam Make-ups

Thursday, June 5th - Last day of school!
