Sloppy Joes Devoured on 8/28
 2015's "Vegas, Baby!" event is certainly off to an enthusiastic start! More than 80 Seniors enjoyed sloppy joe sandwiches and cookies while giving us their opinions at this year's first Senior Advisory Committee (SAC) meeting. Many of those spirited Seniors signed up to participate in the Senior Assembly at 10:30am on October 6th. We encourage you to stop by and see the 10 minute show, or better yet... volunteer to help out (see below).
The next SAC meeting will be on Thursday, September 25th. ALL Seniors are invited to enjoy yummy food at that lunchtime meeting. No RSVP needed -- Seniors can just show up to the Library Lecture Hall. Entertainment/Activities will be the topic of discussion. Please spread the word!

Event Prizes
 Prizes are distributed throughout every all-night Project Grad event, with two grand prizes drawn at the very end of the evening. Graduates must be present to win-- thus, prizes are a reason to stay into the wee-hours of the safe and sober celebration.
At the last five Project Grad IRHS events (2010-14)...
- About 4 out of every 10 graduates left with a prize
- 775 prizes were given
- 74% of all prizes were valued at $20
- 11% were valued at $25
- The only material prizes given were a grand prize car each year, and one iPad in 2012--the rest were gift cards or cash
- 22% of the prizes were some denomination of cash
- Highest combined value of all gift cards given for a single store: Target ($1925)
- Second and third place in combined value: Walmart ($1550), Best Buy ($1500)
- Most number of gift cards given for a single store: Eegees (50)
