Business Community Gathers to Support PG

Project Graduation would like to thank Oro Valley Police Chief Danny Sharp and the Hilton El Conquistador Resort for hosting the 11th Annual Business Breakfast last Thursday, October 31st. We are grateful to our generous business community for all the support that they provide for our event night celebration. Because of their ongoing donation of goods, services, and funds - along with the volunteers who provide vital manpower -- the Class of 2014 can look forward to a fabulous, safe and sober 'Imagine This...Imagine That!' graduation night.

Keeping Our Children Safe - IRHS Principal Stresses Need for New PG Volunteers

Recently, I had the honor and privilege of attending the 11th annual Project Graduation Breakfast. What a great reminder of the great students and community we have! Over the past decade, over 10,000 student lives have been protected through the efforts of Project Graduation. In our community there has not been a single alcohol or drug related injury or fatality on graduation night due to the efforts of Project Graduation. This reality is a testament to the care we all share for our children. When I think of the potential each and every child brings to the future of our community, the impact of Project Graduation is even more profound. Project Graduation, however, does not just happen. Volunteers are needed to help create, organize and plan. It is only through the strength and commitment of parent and community volunteers that Project Graduation can continue to be a success. For more information on how to be involved, please contact Project Graduation Chairperson Joyce Contrades at (520-834-2401). Here's to keeping our children safe!

Once again... a Chili's Give Back to IRHS Project Grad Event happens ALL DAY next Tuesday, November 12th. Let Chili's (11065 N Oracle Rd.) do the cooking while you support IRHS Project Grad. With each flyer presented (printed or on mobile device), Chili's will donate 15% of the sales back to IRHS Project Grad. Order take out (219-5479) or relax at the restaurant.

FORWARD the flyer TO YOUR LOCAL CONTACTS! Our goal is $240, double what we raised through October's Chilis Give Back Event. Plan on participating in this reoccurring win/win fundraiser every second Tuesday from now through April. Using this flyer helps provide a safe, sober and incredibly memorable graduation night -- and gives you one less meal to shop for, prepare and clean up.
