FORWARD THIS TO YOUR LOCAL CONTACTS!

Chili's Give Back to IRHS Project Grad Event happens ALL DAY next Tuesday, October 8th.

On Tuesday let Chili's (11065 N Oracle Rd.) do the cooking while you support Ironwood Ridge Project Grad. With each flyer presented (printed or on mobile device), Chili's will donate 15% of the sales back to IRHS Project Grad. Order take out (219-5479) or relax at the restaurant.

Make Tuesday October 8th the start of a convenient, monthly tradition. Chili's and IRHS Project Grad have arranged this tasty "Give Back" event for every second Tuesday from now through April. Mark your calendar and plan on participating in this reoccurring win/win fundraiser. Using this flyer helps provide a safe, sober and incredibly memorable graduation night -- and gives you one less meal to shop for, prepare and clean up.

Sr. Assembly: Great Fun!

Project Grad 2014 launched this year's theme, "Imagine This, Imagine That," with a 10-minute musical  extravaganza at the Senior Assembly on Monday, September 30th.  About 30 seniors participated in the show, featuring a video game-crazed teenager reluctant to "use his imagination." He finds a magic book in his room that transports him to three different "chapters," including creepy Zombies, princesses with attitudes and rowdy pirates. The cast hammed it up in the show's choreographed dances and the senior class audience loved it!  The kids did an amazing job!

After the show, Event Coordinator, Joyce Contrades, awarded prizes to four lucky seniors who already purchased their tickets to the event.

Many thanks to all the volunteers who helped put the show together.  It was a great success and the seniors seemed really pumped about next year's party!

If you'd like to join in the fun, come to one of our Project Grad Work Parties.  Mark these dates on your calendar:

Saturday, October 26, 9am to 1pm
Saturday, November 9, 9am to 1pm
Saturday, December 14, 9am to 1pm

If you have any questions about how you can help the decorations committee, please contact Kathy Odenkirk (401-2858).
PG @ OV's State of Town

On September 26th, Project Grad was part of Oro Valley's State of the Town luncheon. In addition to being among the 620 attendees packing the ballroom for the lunch and address by OV Mayor Satish Hiremath, we hosted an informational table in the foyer. Project Grad's presence was notable as we donned our PG polo shirts, shared our "business" cards, and drew a crowd with our candy bowl. We schmoozed with school board members, community business leaders, and officials from the city. We left confident that we had attracted more support for this year's event.
