Senior students and parents are still wanted to help with Senior Assembly. Senior Assembly involves senior students in a presentation. Encourage a senior to come (with a friend is even more fun). No need to call ahead, just drop by this Sunday at 5pm in the Blackbox Theater (and also the following Sunday at 5pm). 

We could also use some adults to help wrangle the kids at the Sunday rehearsals and the assembly. The assembly happens on Monday September 30th. All senior parents are welcome to come (it's great to be reminded of what it's like to be a part of a high school senior class). Please call Kersten Kremer (343-8317) if you are willing to lend a hand on that day.
 
Do you have any PIRATE GARB to lend for our Senior Assembly presentation? We are in immediate need of pirate-related clothing items, such as flannel shirts, hats, white fluffy (poet) shirt, swords, and boot covers. Please call Kersten Kremer (343-8317) ASAP if you have something we could use.
 
Since 2004, IRHS Project Graduation has provided a safe and sober all-night celebration for new graduates.

A Few Words from "Decorations"

 

Come join us for a decorating work party this Friday and Saturday (9/20 and 9/21) from 9am to 1pm in the Project Grad Loft (stairway is in hall behind main gym).  It's A LOT of fun and you don't have to have any special skills.  We will show you EXACTLY what to do!  Make sure to come dressed ready to paint and glitter! We will be preparing props and costumes for the Senior Assembly on Sept. 30. 

 

There will another work party next Saturday  9/28, from 8am to about 3pm, to prepare for the Senior Assembly.  Meet in the Black Box Theater.

Volunteer Support We Need

 

We have many vacancies, inluding:
  • Grant research/writing (internet searching and filing out forms; ongoing need); contact: Joyce Contrades (834-2401). We lost a $5,000 funding source from previous years and now need to find new ways to secure those funds.
  • Help creating final props for Senior Assembly (e.g. glue/paint/glitter, sew, hang and so on, no skills/exprience necessary; 9/20, 9/21, and/or 9/28); conact Kathy Odenkirk (297-2584)
  • Help backstage or in auditorium for Senior Assembly (9/22, 9/29, 9/30); contact Kathy Odenkirk (297-2584)

Items We Need

 

Project Grad's primary fundraiser (for all three Amphi High Schools) is the Oro Valley Cup Golf Tournament, which relies heavily on donations of raffle and silent auction items. Please contact Greg Fitzgerald (544-9390) if you can help us acquire any time of items for this Feb 7th event; they do not have to be golf related. 

 

Pirate garb/props is at he top of the IRHS decorating committee list of need.  Let Kathy Odenkirk (297-2584) know if you have items we can use.
