Are You Ready for Value-Based Payments in 2016?
 
Medicare set a goal to have at least 85 percent of payments tied to quality and value by 2016. Is your rural hospital on target to achieve positive results under these new payment methodologies as Medicare reaches its goals? If not, the Practice Transformation Network (PTN) received federal grant dollars from CMS for the Transforming Clinic Practice Initiatives program to help you reach this goal cost-free! We realize that many of these payment goals do not apply to critical access hospitals (CAHs) today, but are anticipated to be applied in the future. Early preparation will be one of the keys to long-term success under these payment methodologies. Both rural prospective payment and CAHs are encouraged to apply now, as funds are limited to 525 facilities.
