Casual for a Cause
On Fridays, our employees have the option of dressing casual, for a small price. Our "Jean Fund" is then used at the end of the year to donate to a local organization at the holidays. Here's how our employees are sharing their local Jean Fund, as well as giving back in their community this holiday season:
* White River Junction employees purchased guest items and are cooking three dinners at David's House, and cooking/serving dinner at the Listen Center. Their Jean Fund is being donated to Toys for Tots and to help two families in need through Norwich Basket Helpers.
* Williston employees cooked dinner for Burlington's homeless at ANEW Place. They also donated 99 pairs of Socks for Seniors, where warm socks are brought to local senior homes, and are donating to the Chittenden County Humane Society.
* The Swanton team is donating to the local food shelf and giving gifts to seniors at local nursing homes.
* The Poultney office will be providing gifts to a family in need through the Poultney Women's Club.
* Our Rutland office participates in the annual Stuff A Bus food donations for the local Food Shelf, as well as the Rutland County United Way Campaign.
* The St. Johnsbury employees are donating to Toys for Tots.
* The Randolph team is donating their Jean Fund to the local food shelf.
