Fall Is In the Air

It's that time of year again -- complete with apple picking, corn mazes and trees beginning to change color.  We're happy to welcome Fall's cooler temperatures, while we reflect on the beautiful summer we had. And let's face it, if we didn't love Fall, we probably wouldn't live in New England!

There are some great Fall Festivals coming up across Vermont, kicking off this past weekend with the Burke Foliage Festival!  Here are a list of some Fall Festivals you won't want to miss.

Enjoy the season of harvest, pumpkins, cider donuts, crisp apples, cool and crisp nights, mountain hikes, and splendid colors!

Affordable Care Act Employer Reporting Requirements

At a recent Vermont Human Resources Conference, Kinney Pike Benefits Compliance Consultant, Bob Radecki, talked to attendees about Employer Reporting Responsibilities for 1095 and 1094 reporting. Beginning 1/1/16, many large businesses (50 or more employees) will need to begin reporting health coverage offered to employees.  If an employer has not made a good faith effort to comply with these reporting requirements, they will be subject to steep penalties.

Do you need assistance navigating through this process and the preparation needed to meet these deadlines?  We have the resources to better protect you. Please contact Kevin Meilleur by clicking here, or Kevin can be reached at 800-296-5722.
