"Low physical literacy among youth
is a phenomenon across the country."

-Dean Kreillars, Exercise Physiologist

Dean Kriellaars a leading expert in a movement called physical literacy, has noticed a phenomenon across our country. Not all kids know how to throw, jump or skip. They're not learning the basic elements of play, adding to the growing issue of increased screen time and spending less time playing outside.

Research shows the effects of missing physical literacy skills carry on until adulthood. These important skills build confidence to let kids discover the joy of moving and set a foundation for a lifetime of physical activity.
