OWEN CORCORAN NAMED SPECIAL EVENTS & MEDIA COORDINATOR
The Coastal Alabama Business Chamber announced Tuesday that Owen Corcoran has been named Special Events & Media Coordinator for the organization. Corcoran, a Gulf Shores resident and Auburn University graduate, replaces Lauren Turner, who resigned last month to pursue a career opportunity in Florida. He comes to the Chamber from the Pensacola Blue Wahoos Baseball team where he held various duties related to special events, group sales, and group parties. He previously served as Assistant Director of Golf Operations for Mill Creek Golf Club in Auburn, AL where he not only oversaw day-to-day operations but also handled various administrative duties. Corcoran also has background and experience in communications in the areas of sports management, broadcasting, and real estate. "Our Chamber's Special Events staff team, led by Ann vonEberstein and aided by hundreds of volunteers, has shown remarkable growth over the last few years and all staff positions at the Chamber have evolved as a result," said Chamber President Ed Rodriguez. "We're poised for even more growth in the year ahead and Owen's background will make him a great addition to our team."

COMMUNITY EVENTS |
WE CAN BRING "CHAMBER 101" TO YOU!
Each month the Chamber conducts a Chamber 101 Class designed to provide members with information on how to utilize their Chamber membership to dramatically increase their exposure in the community and on the internet.
For some members are unable to attend, and other members would like to have multiple employees attend but cannot send them all at once, the Chamber will be happy to conduct a "Chamber 101" session for your employees in our boardroom -- or at your location -- at a special time that is convenient to all.
We do not want any Chamber member to miss taking advantage of these valuable tools just because they cannot attend our "second Friday" morning classes," said Chamber President Ed Rodriguez. "We'll schedule it at a different time and we'll even take the class to you -- whatever it takes!"
For more information, please contact Vicki Stillings at 251.968.7200.
