Make It A Bright Solstice

We are just a few hundred dollars away from reaching our goal of $5000 for the fall scholarships drive (Bow Tie Campaign).

Some of you have given several times to CHS this year - the rest of us owe you deep thanks.

If you are not one of those, will you click now and add your name to the honor roll?

Every gift - large or small - makes a difference.

The world is better because CHS is here for everyone.

Please do what you can to keep our light burning brightly.

CHS Leadership Spotlight

CHS Executive Director Holli Emore and Aline O'Brien (M. Macha NightMare)

After six years of service, Aline O'Brien, also known as M. Macha NightMare, is transitioning from the CHS Board of Directors.

Macha is now joining the CHS Board of Advisors and will continue to participate in the CHS community.

Expressing CHS's gratitude for Macha's service, CHS Executive Director Holli Emore stated "I can't begin to thank you enough for how you have mentored, tolerated, encouraged, supported and otherwise helped me and all of us and Cherry Hill Seminary. Thank you for protecting and nurturing [this] tender plant until it could begin to take root and gain strength."

Thank you, Macha, from all of us in the CHS family!

Pagan Perspective: Divided for Love's Sake, is now available for purchase.  From the synopsis available on Christine's blog: "Arguing that the erotic is a powerful moral force that can ground a system of ethics, Kraemer integrates approaches from queer theology, therapeutic bodywork, and sexual minority advocacy into a contemporary Pagan religious framework."

Stepping Into Ourselves:  An Anthology of Writings on Priestesses, edited by Anne Key and CHS's Candace Kant, is now available for pre-order at a discount.  From the publisher: "Stepping Into Ourselves: An Anthology of Writings on Priestesses is a vibrant tapestry of voices illuminating the roles and perspectives of priestesses in the ancient and modern worlds and weaving them together to create the beautiful fabric of women's sacred service. The personal essays, academic articles, poetry, rituals, and tools in this book will speak to your heart, inspiring you to step into your own spiritual authority."
