In response to our expansion to Cortland County and to provide further support for our

program in Tompkins County, we are pleased to announce that we have hired two part time

bereavement counselors: Barb Blom, M.Div., and Laura Ward, LMFT. With Barb and Laura on board, we are able to further expand our bereavement offerings for 2015.

Laura is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Throughout her career she has focused on children and families, most recently working as a mental health care professional and mediator assisting families through divorce.

Choosing Hospice
"I have time to live each moment that comes along"
Finishing Strong
Former NFL player Bryan Caldwell makes the most of each moment by surrounding himself with all he loves.

When Bryan Caldwell first learned he had Hodgkin's Lymphoma, he spent 6 months battling intense pain. Then he decided to call in hospice and live the rest of his time pain free and surrounded by all he loves. Bryan calls this his "timeless time" because he doesn't know how much time he has left, he says, but he does know that hospice has given him the chance to live every moment to the utmost.

A beautiful, uplifting video that shows a life truly lived to the fullest.

The Cornell Wrestling Team is once again sponsoring a Community Challenge for Hospicare. This year's fundraiser will take place on January 29 at their match against the University of Pennsylvania.

The Community Fundraiser depends on attendance to raise the most funds. Cornell Wrestling donors and other supporters pledge a certain amount of money per person in attendance at the match--the more people who attend, the more funds will be donated to Hospicare!

What: Cornell Wrestling Community Challenge for Hospicare
When: January 29, 1:00 PM
Where: Bartels Hall, Cornell University

We hope to see you at the match!

Visit the Cornell Wrestling Community Challenge donation page to learn more or to make a general donation to the fundraiser.
