Income Tracker---where have you been all of my (Jerie's) QuickBooks' life!  Unlike the ProAdvisors in our firm (Bob & Beth), I don't use all of features of QuickBooks, so when I stumble upon something that is awesome, I get so excited that I have to share.  Can you hear me singing, hallelujah!  I have a new best "menu" where I can see open estimates, open invoices, overdue invoices and payments on one screen, within one click of each other.  Income Tracker is one of QuickBooks' more innovative features. If you're not using it, you should be.

Sales Tax 101 for QuickBooks Users (August 12, 2014 at 9am, Central)
Sales and use tax compliance is almost impossible to manage well.  Determining when to tax, in most states is a challenge, and relying on zip codes can get you in trouble when the auditor comes knocking.  Maintaining rate tax tables inside QuickBooks is not easy; with updates and changes, it's impossible to be 100% accurate all of the time.  Join us for a complimentary webinar and learn:  how to protect your business in the event of a tax audit, how to save time and money on tax administration, and why zip codes mean zip when it comes to sales tax.  Click Here now to register for this FREE webinar - August 12, 2014 at 10am central or call Jerie at 256-337-5200 for more details.

Goodbye to QuickBooks Financial 2011 Support &
PCI Compliance for Payments Accounts

On May 31, 2014, Intuit discontinued support for QuickBooks Financial Pro, Premier, Simple Start 2011, QuickBooks for Mac 2011, and QBES 2011. You can continue to use these solutions, of course, but live technical support and add-on services like payroll, credit card processing, online banking and bill-pay are not accessible.

By November 1, 2014, Intuit will need to re-certify all payments accounts to be PCI compliant.  Existing Payments clients on POS v.8, v.9 or v.10 will need to add/modify their Payment account(s) or upgrade to QuickBooks POS 2013 to be PCI compliant.  Small Business Solutions will continue to support all POS versions, but if there is an issue beyond The QBBob Team's knowledge, then Intuit will not help resolve the problem.

Call us @ 256-337-5200 about upgrading if you're using any of these products or services.
