Greetings!

Happy Passover, Happy Easter, Happy Spring! Unbelievable though it may seem, it appears Spring has finally arrived! Despite the false promise of an early Spring by some large rodents with an nasty sense of humour, Spring was beaten back a few times by a Winter that didn't seem to want to let us out of it's grip. With seasonal melt we come across the usual dangers that accompany the beginnings of warmer weather.  Ice on ponds and lakes is no longer safe and creeks are running higher and faster than usual - please keep a close eye on your four legged friend when out for your walks!

Along with an astounding amount of garbage, the usual piles of forgotten poop are revealing themselves with the melting of the snow all over Richmond Hill including the dog parks. We'll be doing our usual garbage clean up at Tower Hill park and the surrounding area during Richmond Hill's Pitch-In Week (see below for details). Our park volunteers continue to tackle the leftover winter poop, but everyone can pitch-in with that as well by picking up just 1 extra poop every time they visit the park.  Every little bit helps and is always appreciated!

See you at the parks!
