Greetings!
Welcome to our new look! February was starting to look dreary and so was our Newsletter so we thought some freshening up was in order. What do you think?
This month has certainly been a challenging one weather-wise! It wasn't quite cold enough to freeze the pond for Carnival, but we had snow and sun and the dogs certainly had fun in the temporary off-leash area all weekend and a number of folks had a good time putting their pooches through the paces in the Pet Valu agility ring on Sunday afternoon!
Just a few days later we were battling copious amounts of the white stuff when bravely venturing out for walkies. Even some snow loving dogs seemed less than impressed when presented with the somewhat difficult task of finding that perfect place to poop! It certainly made for some amusing photos and videos! Looks like Mother Nature has not finished with us yet and those snowbanks are about to get even higher. Remember drivers can't see you or your dog behind those piles of snow, so be extra cautious on your walks!
We've also had some gate challenges at both parks. Thank you to everyone who took the time to let us know of the problems. The Town is aware of the gate issues and has either fixed them or have done their best to find a temporary solution to a more difficult issue. It seems the latches at Phyllis Rawlinson are a bit more delicate than originally thought to be, so please, for the time being, be gentle and patient with them!
See you at the parks! |
