Believe is the word of the week and I want to:
 - Believe that if I work hard, something good will come out of it.
- Believe that change keeps me more active and on the ball (pun intended).
- Believe that I am working to bring joy and happiness to people's lives.
- Believe that watching Federer can be inspirational as well as just pure entertainment
- Believe that if I love my family I will get love back...even from a teenager.
- Believe that having many friends is a good thing.
- Believe if I help someone in need it is good karma.
- Believe that I have much more to look forward to in life.
- Believe that I have had a charmed life.
- Believe that laughing is really good for the soul.
- Believe I could keep going on& on & on.....
We should all have belief in our life. We all have highs and lows in our daily life but having belief encourages self-confidence, helps us trust in our efforts, and gives credence to our efforts outcomes. With belief we can get better and can make life on earth better for others So just like the Journey song says: "Don't Stop Believing" and you will find out how brave you are, how strong you are, and how smart you are.

TENNIS TIP

If you want to get better in tennis your first step is to believe you can. The next step is having a plan on how you are going to get that improvement. Then you have to implement that plan. If you do these things the goal of improving a stroke, your fitness, or your mental attitude will have a good chance of success.
So the Tip of the month is Practice, Practice, Practice!
How to Practice:
- Take a lesson to show you the correct techniques
- Use the ball machine.
- Hit against a wall
- Play with different partners
- Drill and play
- Practice your serve....with a basket of balls.
- Have fun while you work at getting better.
Remember it is a success if you feel better about your efforts.

Drop In Doubles

A tennis pro will be at each social to direct doubles play, pair doubles teams of equal skill for fun matches, and make sure that everyone gets a chance to hit. This is the perfect time for you and your double's partner to work on your strategy and game. Always wanted to try doubles? This is a great way to get introduced to the dynamics of playing with a partner by your side. Meet new friends and enjoy time socializing with everyone!

Welcome Round Robin
Help us welcome our new members
Sunday, July 31st 1:30-3:30 pm
Join us one Sunday a month for a round robin mixer, especially for 'new' members.
All new members are invited to come play some round robin tennis and meet other new members, as well as established members. Three courts are available for a variety of playing abilities. New members are invited to bring a friend to join in the fun.
This event is FREE to new members who have joined since January 1, 2015, as well as their invited (non-member) guests.
