Do You Need To Take a LEAP of Faith?

I live my life peacefully inside my comfort zone. Taking only calculated  risks. I know what I like. And I stick with it. For thirty-something years this has worked blissfully well for me. Until it didn't. Because I wanted more.
I'm not sure why or how, but something flipped a switch inside me. I realized that only so much happens inside my comfort zone (don't get me wrong - a lot of cool stuff happens in here!). But many of my personal goals are just beyond the boundaries of this self-inflicted, confined space. If I push the boundaries and stretch as far as I can, I can almost touch them. But I can't quite get a good hold of them. They're just beyond my reach. I could convince myself that I just need a little more wiggle or a little more stretch. Then I'll reach my goals. I'll reach them, even if just for a split second.
But deep down, I know the truth. There's only one way to get there: LEAP. Jump right over the very boundary that I laid down to protect myself and plunge into the unknown. It makes me feel like holding my breath just thinking about it. But it also makes me feel happy. Free! It's freeing to know that the only thing holding me back is an imaginary line. It's in my own head. It doesn't even exist if I don't believe it. And I can leap right over it.
