| Lake Chelan Shore-to-Shore |
Set for September 10th, the marathon, half & 10k attracts more than 600 runners annually to a shoreline setting that Runner's World magazine calls one of the most scenic in the United States. The event was first staged in 2001 and is organized by RunWenatchee. Racers gather at Manson Bay Park. Registration is still open.

| Dark Side Festival |
An amazing Saturday evening event, September 24th at Mission Ridge Ski & Board Resort that celebrates outdoor adventure sports in the Wenatchee Valley! The Dark Side Festival features a mountain bike ride, a trail run and a hike held at dusk, followed by live music from two bands and a beer garden and food - and all in a beautiful fall mountain environment.

Home opener this month!

Wenatchee Wild Hockey fans don't have long to wait for the home opener. September 30th is the night, and the Langley Rivermen will be the competition. The Wild have 28 home games scheduled for the regular season at Town Toyota Center.

| Racing at WVSO |
Three weekends of racing in September will close out the 2016 season at WVSO. Highlights include the Neal Newberry Super Late Models 125 on the 10th, The Pro Late Models on the 17th, and the ¼ mile State Championships on the 24th & 25th, the last scheduled weekend of racing at the track in 2016.
