Summertime Sports |
Co-ed tournaments are often some of the most fun to participate in, and locally one of the best is the O'Terry's Lads & Lasses Softball Tournament. It's coming up August 20 & 21 in Wenatchee and features a 4-game guarantee for every team. All proceeds benefit the Wenatchee Valley Sports Foundation. If you have a team, or would like to put one together, there's still time to enter! Tournament/Registration information.

The sixth-annual River Run, a Runwenatchee.com event, will be held July 4 in conjunction with the Wenatchee Independence Day Celebration. The 5K and 10K will start and finish at Pybus Public Market. Runners & walkers are encouraged to participate.

2016 marks the 3rd Annual Sunburn Classic 3-on-3 basketball tournament outdoors at Town Toyota Center. This Elite Hoop Effects tournament is open to all divisions and all ages. Former Cougar and Supersonic James Donaldson is the Grand Marshal!

The Wenatchee AppleSox have four home stands in July, welcoming five teams for 3-game sets each. One of the highlights will be the annual fireworks show on Sunday July 3rd. All games are at Paul Thomas Sr. Baseball Stadium at Wenatchee Valley College. Season Schedule

This Velocity Swimming hosted event takes place at the Wenatchee City Pool July 8-10. This is the second of 2 major summer meets hosted by Velocity, and attracts swimmers from throughout the Pacific Northwest.

This 5th annual derby is July 15 & 16 and is hosted by the Coastal Conservation Association (CCA). Derby is from the top of Rock Island Dam to the bottom of Wells Dam. Approximately $10,000 in prize money!
