Liquidity, transparency, marketability. These are core values of mine.
But, others can have a different approach with different importance placed on certain criteria, and that's okay! What works for you doesn't have to work for them, and vice versa.

Record Unemployment in Europe
This is particularly disturbing when you see teen and young professional unemployment in the 25% unemployed range.
The European economies have some real trouble now and in the future. What is interesting is that many of their stock markets are positive for the year.
This goes back to my statement in a previous newsletter that the stock market of a country does not necessary move in step with the economy.

Definition: Eurodollar
Defined: U.S.-dollar denominated deposits at foreign banks or foreign branches of American banks. By locating outside of the United States, eurodollars escape regulation by the Federal Reserve Board.
Despite the name, Eurodollars do not have to be in Europe, and they are priced in U.S. dollars.
