Greetings!
Do People Really Walk in Circles When They're Lost?
After a long campaign season, it's finally over. Whew! You're either very happy or sad this morning.
So, in order to give you a break and avoid inundating you immediately with my views on what this election return means, I've decided to answer the age old question "Do People Really Walk in Circles When They're Lost?".
I, of course, also tie this into my views on the importance of goal setting in your financial life.
Relax, sit back, and hear something refreshingly non-political.

Employment Picture Continues to be Murky
There are two measures of jobs in my mind: Quantitative and Qualitative.
I'm pleased that slowly the quantity of jobs seems to be coming back, although anemic, but the quality of those jobs is still lacking.
I think we're in the midst of a major re-adjustment in our country, about the type and quantity of jobs we have to offer.
I am not pessimistic in any way, and feel the creativity and entrepreneurial spirit is better here than anywhere, but the adjustment will continue to be painful.

The Fiscal Cliff
I reference the important Tax Policies above that need to be addressed by the end of the year.
With the election over, will the Congress finally address it?

My, how far we've come
Back in 1967, The Flintstones were paid to push Busch Beer. It was supposed to be for "Employee's Only" viewing, but it's now on YouTube.
I have to admit I tasted a Busch beer once or twice in college, and am certainly glad I'm in the position to afford slightly better beer.
That being said, can you imagine this commercial today? The outrage? Times are certainly different.
