**Note that the Near West and Michigan Cermak TIFs both expire 12/31/13. SBIF projects in these districts must be completed no later than 10/1/13 in order to assure payment from City of Chicago.

SBIF Showcase:
Horse Thief Hollow - Western Rock Island TIF/SBIF
Neil Byers, owner of Horse Thief Hollow Brewing Co., utilized the SBIF grant to help build out the space at 10426 S. Western Ave. for a new restaurant and brewery. The SBIF helped with the costs of flooring, framing, plumbing fixtures and a walk-in cooler on the interior, and masonry and facade upgrades, parking lot paving and fencing on the exterior. Named after Beverly's 1850s nickname, "Horse Thief Hollow" is off to a great start, with customers enjoying their high quality, made-from-scratch food and microbrews. Check them out!
