DAY OF CARING
 


More than 5,000 volunteers are expected to work on approximately 350 community service projects during the Tulsa Area United Way's annual Day of Caring on Friday, Sept. 11.

The Day of Caring will begin at 7 a.m. with a free breakfast and program for volunteers at Johnson Park, 61st St. and Riverside Dr.

The Tulsa Area United Way will officially kick off and announce the goal of its annual campaign for the community at the Crosstown Showdown - the legendary Owasso - Broken Arrow High School football rivalry - on Friday, Sept. 4.

TEE UP FOR THE 5th ANNUAL GOLF SCRAMBLE
 


The deadline to enter the United Way Golf Scramble is circling the cup!

Four-player teams will head out to the tee box on Aug. 28 for an 8 a.m. shotgun start. This tournament includes balls, prizes, trophies and lunch. Cost is $400 for each team and optional mulligans at $5 each with a deadline to enter of Aug. 14.

Sponsorship opportunities are available. All proceeds benefit the Tulsa Area United Way 2015 Campaign.


TRAILBLAZERS SET THE PACE
 


The Tulsa Area United Way has announced a roster of Trailblazers - companies and organizations that will conduct early campaigns this summer in advance of the United Way's traditional fall fundraising campaign.

And, now, these outstanding organizations have announced their fundraising goal.

Cancer survivor Ben Jenkins improves his memory through brain exercises and his balance with Tai Chi at Broken Arrow Seniors. But more than that, he and his wife Kay have established lifelong friendships through this United Way agency.
