LARGEST CAMPAIGN IN HISTORY

The Tulsa Area United Way unveiled a major milestone in its 89-year history on Nov. 14 - its largest campaign ever of $26,159,826. The total amount raised exceeded this year's goal of $25,200,000 - the largest goal in its history - by $959,826. The overage also was the largest in local United Way history. In addition, this year's amount surpassed last year's total amount raised of $25,575,522.

Every year a group of dedicated individuals gives hundreds of hours to raise millions of dollars for their community. These hard-working people make up the Campaign Cabinet and the 2013 record-breaking Campaign wouldn't have been successful without them. |

| WLC HELPS OTHERS DURING THE HOLIDAYS |

|
 The Tulsa Area United Way Women's Leadership Council is partnering with the Salvation Army Angel Tree program again this year. Last year they were able to help more than 4,200 families, including more than 8,600 children, have a wonderful holiday season. The WLC has openings to help with gift sorting and gift distribution throughout December. Please consider volunteering with your families and friends.

Angie Atiyeh represents a demographic not commonly associated with HIV/AIDS: middle-aged women.
In 1996, she got sick and discovered she was HIV-positive. That's when she discovered Tulsa CARES.
"If it wasn't for Tulsa CARES, I wouldn't be talking with you today," Angie says. "They literally saved my life." |
