Finding personal true beauty and making an impact on the community will be the topic of an upcoming event sponsored by the Tulsa Area United Way Women's Leadership Council. The group will hold a fall reception, "Leaving a Lasting Impression" on Sept. 26 at the Mayo Hotel at 4:30 pm. |
Attendees will hear from business owner Jill Donovan of Rustic Cuff, on her personal life story of creating a business that empowers her to affect others in a positive way. |

The Women's Leadership Council will take up their spade and garden gloves or hone their cutting and labeling skills while warming up their reading voices for the 2013 Day of Caring on Sept. 6.
During the Day of Caring hundreds of volunteer projects will take place all over the Tulsa area. Let us know if you'd like to join in on the special WLC project at the McClure CAP Tulsa site. You can read to children, help in the garden, or organize classroom materials. There's something for everyone!
