CAMPAIGN SURPLUS RESULTS IN HIGHER LEVEL OF COMMUNITY SUPPORT |

A record-breaking fundraising campaign last fall will result in a significantly higher level of investment in the community this year.
The Tulsa Area United Way raised a record $25,575,522 during its 2012 campaign - surpassing its goal by more than $675,000, the highest total in its 89-year history.
"The campaign surplus provided by our generous contributors will enable us to meet even more needs in our community," said Mark Graham, President and CEO.

The Tulsa Area United Way has received four stars from Charity Navigator, the highest rating awarded by the nation's premier nonprofit evaluator.
The rating system is based on sound fiscal management, a high level of accountability and strong governance, according to Charity Navigator. The rating also includes a perfect score in Charity Navigator's category of accountability and transparency.
