Our mission is to equip and serve business owners and CEOs to enhance their business progress

through the application of 'best business practices' and Christian principles, and to help them grow spiritually as they seek God's will for their businesses and personal lives.

Dear C12 Members & Friends,

A recent study by Gallup Research reported that "Seventy-one percent of American workers are "not engaged" or "actively disengaged" in their work, meaning they are emotionally disconnected from their workplaces and are less likely to be productive!

If true, that means that our companies are only functioning at a third of their potentials. The question you must be asking is: Is my company only functioning at a third of its potential?

The classic story The Tortoise and The Hare is very similar when comparing the race in the story (and the shocking win of the tortoise) to the stakes in our race as business leaders. Just like the hare, many businesses become complacent, overly confident and lack diligence distracting them from winning. Combine that with tolerating under-performing, entitled employees, this is a recipe for failure.

This month, C12 members will dive deep into three concepts:

  • CHOICES - how we go about winning the race is our choice.
  • The dangers of complacency, how it negatively impacts our teams, blinds us from threats-- and how to fix it.
  •  What it means to be an alert leader to our role as Ambassadors in Christ and ministering to those around us.

Plus, we will take an 11 point check-up to access how we are currently handling these critical aspect of organizational health and come away with action steps to implement.

April CEO Roundtable Topics

This month's board meetings will provide us with time
for  an opening devotional, focused prayer related to our businesses and families, open table discussion,  progress review and new to-do items.  Click here to view a brief video synopsis of what to expect this month.

DEVOTION
Choices (Matthew 6:33, 1Kings 18:21,
Joshua 24:15)

Few of us are fully satisfied with our spiritual condition.  Yet we rarely stop to consider that our intimacy with Christ is the result of choices we make every day.  We take pride in our discipline in such areas as fitness, business, and hobbies; but what about our discipline regarding what matters most for eternity?

Working 'on' my BUSINESS

A Clear and Present Danger

The downside of prolonged success is that so many leaders tend to 'settle in' and hold onto 'the way we do things here.'  The resulting tendency toward complacency and its frequent companion, a growing entitlement mentality, has destroyed many organizations.  This segment is an 'eye-opening' wake-up call and the first of a two-part series.

Working 'on' my MINISTRY in God's Business
You're Not; I AM!
God hasn't saved us merely that we might be free from judgment and enjoy eternal heavenly fellowship with (and worship of) our Lord and Creator when we die.  He also desires us to be fruitful Christians so that the character of Jesus Christ might be reproduced in us, and through us, while here in the flesh.

Experiencing Conflict In Your Organization?

For many, the workplace is a very stressful place to spend most of our waking hours.  Recent studies show 53% of workers lose work time and 22% expend less effort due to conflict. How can you resolve conflict in your organization through Biblical wisdom?

Why Is Project Management Really So Important?
Many companies are purely project management enterprises (e.g., contractors, custom job shop manufacturers, engineering firms, moving firms, marketing firms, etc.). Whether they are better than their peers at managing projects can be the difference between company life and death. How well does your organization manage multiple customer projects?

Why Am I Doing What I Do?

As business leaders, we can be so immersed in 'survival mode' that we rarely give much attention to issues beyond a two-year time horizon. Spend a moment to take stock and ask yourself what are the long-term hopes and goals you harbor deep in your heart for your business? Read more...
