Dear C12 Members & Friends,

What Lies Ahead?

The long campaign is finally over. Next up are battles over taxes, health care, the deficit, Medicare, and more.  Many uncertainties lie ahead, however according to a recent survey conducted by ChiefExecutive.net, CEOs, Business Owners and Entrepreneurs expect their profits to climb in 2013.  Many project sustainable improvement in the economy and intend to add more jobs.  However, lack of access to capital may prohibit growth and job creation for many.  What are your expectations for the year ahead?

Reflecting on 2012...

As you reflect on the past year, do you feel you have hit your targets? Have you made the necessary changes to ensure better performance? Have you made progress toward living and leading with the eternal perspective in mind? What are the dimensions or gauges of assessment you apply to your year and leadership as a Christian?

Building a Great Business...

December CEO Roundtable Topics

This month's board meetings will provide us with time
for  an opening devotional, focused prayer related to our businesses and families, open table discussion,  progress review and new to-do items.  Click here to view a brief video synopsis of what to expect this month.

DEVOTION
Two Masters - Which Do We Serve? (Mt 6:24)
Jesus' clear statement - we can't "serve two masters" - requires us to consider what's first as we live-out each day.  Pursuing wealth today with the idea of reconciling with God later ignores the reality that (1) we're already accountable for our decision to serve God or money as our top priority and (2) our 'tomorrows' are beyond our control.  Do you trust our sovereign Lord to provide for your needs and those of your business as you serve Him?

Working 'on' my BUSINESS

Seeing through the 'Leadership Model' Fog

Today's available books on leadership - if stacked up - would exceed the height of the Empire State Building!  Unfortunately, this mountain of 'expertise' is full of conflicting approaches which all seem to promise 'breakthrough' benefits.  We separate the wheat from the chaff to make sense of this leadership jumble by examining contemporary models in the light of timeless truth.

Working 'on' my MINISTRY in God's Business
A Yearly Audit
Our traditional year-end opportunity to 'look in the mirror' helps us evaluate our personal progress toward living and leading with the eternal perspective in mind.  Challenge yourself to objectively analyze the way you're setting priorities and making choices in the key areas of your life and decide whether you're making satisfactory progress.
